About the presentation

Event Times:

Join us for a discussion of the Spurgin family from North Carolina - in which the husband (William) was a loyalist and the wife (Jane) was a patriot. Jane emerged from the Revolution with a sense of her rights and liberties as a citizen, but she suffered the break-up of her family, and loss of property and status as a result of the politics of war.
